Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, answering multi line phones.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to effectively assist in patient care.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing patient information. .
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient service while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to adapt to changing situations in a clinical environment.
- Ability to sit, walk, reach, lift, push, pull, handle, hold, carry, feel, etc.
- Experience as Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant required.
