Gate Attendant

Carolina Motorsports Park (Carolina Motorsports Park, LLC) located in Kershaw, SC is seeking a dependable and enthusiastic Gate Attendant to join our team in an exciting fast-paced motorsports environment. As a Gate Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for signing-in all guests upon entry, confirming pre-registered details, and processing various payments. You will also assist visitors with general inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team members when necessary. The ideal candidate is responsible, attentive, and reliable with a strong customer service mindset. Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. Responsibilities

· Remain at fixed post to monitor all activity entering and exiting the premises.

· Obtain and maintain waiver signatures before all persons enter the premises.

· Issue armbands to all guests who have signed the track waivers.

· Greet and assist guests with general facility related questions.

· Enforce park rules and regulations.

· Communicate any issues to management and staff.

· Listen to and communicate with track radios.

· Acknowledge lane entries and vehicles whenever possible.

· Must be cognizant of gate activity at all times.

· Ability to operate radio, telephone, computers, and Point-of-Sale (POS) devices.

Physical Requirements and Environment

· Major activity: walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing, greeting patrons with a wave and a smile.

· Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking/running, and sitting; minimal stooping, kneeling, and lifting.

· Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat.

· Ability to stay awake and alert for entire shift.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 48 per week
