Are you passionate about teaching piano and looking for a flexible position that allows you to set your own schedule? We are seeking dedicated piano teachers to provide one-on-one lessons in students' homes within the Wake County, NC area. If you love music, enjoy working with all ages, and want the freedom to choose your own hours, this could be the perfect fit! Most of our students are at the beginning to intermediate level, with occasional interest in guitar, woodwinds, and brass.
Position: Piano Teacher (One on one, In-Home Lessons)
Location: Wake County, NC (Travel to Students' Homes)
Areas Served: Apex, Cary, Morrisville, Holly Springs, Fuquay Varina, and parts of Raleigh.
Responsibilities:
Provide engaging, personalized piano lessons to students primarily at the beginning to intermediate level.
Travel to students’ homes for lessons, helping them learn in a comfortable environment.
Occasionally work with students interested in other instruments, such as guitar, woodwinds, or brass, if you have experience in these areas (optional).
Simply show up and teach – we handle all admin work, scheduling, and communication with students collecting payments setting up 2 recitals per year.
Use your preferred curriculum, or choose from our recommended resources to best suit each student’s needs.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Reliable transportation to travel between lesson locations.
Must be local to the Wake County, NC area.
Passion for teaching and music.
Teaching experience is a plus but not required – enthusiasm and reliability are what matter most!
Experience in guitar, woodwinds, or brass is a bonus but not required.
