What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Manager position at Carolina Nephrology?
We are looking for a highly self-motivated, professional and experienced HR Manager. This is a full-time position with a growing medical practice. We currently have nine locations and opening a surgery center in the spring. This individual will be reporting to the Assistant CFO and responsible for leading and directing the human resource functions of the practice. Consult and collaborate with management team on strategic human resource planning and serve as a link between the practice's management and its employees, traveling to all office locations as required. Support the communications at all levels in the practice to strengthen the desired culture as outlined in the practice's vision and mission statement. Duties will include staffing and recruiting, benefits administration, employee wellness and safety per OSHA standards and assist with completing payroll twice per month.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles.
- Experience in labor relations and employee relations.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Effective communication and collaboration skills with all stakeholders in the practice.
- Proficiency in HR management systems.
- HR certification, such a SHRM-CP, SRM-SCP or SPHR, is preferred.
- Efficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in a medical practice a plus.
