What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgical Tech (PRN) position at Carolina Nephrology?
Location: Carolina ASC, LLC - Greenville, SC - Affiliated with and part of Carolina Nephrology, PA.
About Us: Carolina ASC, LLC is seeking experienced Surgical Techs to assist in surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and assist with sterile technique.
- Anticipate surgeon needs and provide instruments during procedures.
- Maintain sterile fields and handle specimens as required.
- Process and sterilize surgical instruments
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or military equivalent.
- Maintains the Surgical Technologist Certification administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
- Active BLS certification required.
- Experience in vascular or interventional procedures is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
- Minimum of two (2) year clinical experience preferred.
