We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team! We are seeking a Full-Time Patient Accounts Representative located in mid-town Charlotte. The ideal candidate possesses excellent customer service skills and has at least 1 year of healthcare billing or front desk experience. Prior experience in a busy medical practice is highly favored. Must have the ability to multi-task and have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assists patients over the telephone with questions regarding their account and identifies and resolves patient billing issues.
  • Responds to inquiries from patients, attorneys and patient portal.
  • Processes and posts payments taken over the phone and through patient portal.
  • Works with collection agencies to ensure accuracy of information.
  • Follows all our processes and complies with HIPAA regulations.
  • Updates pertinent patient information in the system.
  • Works as part of a team to complete departmental responsibilities.
  • Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals.
  • Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork
  • Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
This is not a work from home position.
