We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team. We are seeking a Full-time Physician Administrative Assistant located in our Midtown Charlotte office. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in a similar role and has worked within an EMR environment. Must have the ability to multi-task and have a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and excellent phone skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure an excellent patient experience.
- Serves as physician’s point of contact for scheduling patient appointments and procedures. Ensures all required documentation is obtained. Coordinates pre-certification approvals following established procedures.
- Edits transcription for assigned physician.
- Manages physician and APP schedule changes and call changes to ensure all parties are notified.
- Ensures physician and APP hospital charges are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintains physician’s Outlook schedule and files. Makes travel arrangements as requested and ensures proper documentation of all expenses.
- Works closely with nursing department to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations.
- Other duties assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.

Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm with some flexibility based on business needs.
