We are searching for compassionate and energetic individuals to join our team! We are seeking a Full-Time Surgery Scheduler in our Greensboro office. The ideal candidate has at least 2-3 years of related experience in a healthcare setting. Must have the ability to multi-task and have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail and excellent phone skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and surgery scheduling for 3-5 neurosurgeons to include coordination with precert, patient and physician scheduling requests, and patient notification.
- Serving as a primary liaison for hospital surgery scheduling relations.
- Maintaining block and surgeon efficiency.
- Schedules and/or reschedules patient surgical procedures at various entities in accordance with established protocols over the phone.
- Acquires the appropriate information and orders from the surgeon.
- Communicates schedule and pre-surgery instructions with patient over the phone.
- Requests and/or obtains the ordered materials and/or equipment needed for surgery and confirms with the surgeon before surgery to avoid delays and cancellations.
- Complies with all CNSA processes and HIPAA regulations.
- This is not a remote position.
- Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.

Monday – Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
