Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Physician Assistant located in Spartanburg, SC for a high volume dellowship trained Adult Reconstruction Specialist(Total Joint Replacement). The Physician Assistant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of physicians, conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting lab tests, and assisting in surgery. In addition, the Physician Assistant will educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, document patient information, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and interpreting lab tests
- Experience in surgical assistance and post-operative care
- Ability to educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Excellent documentation and patient record-keeping skills
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with healthcare professionals
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- Current Physician Assistant licensure in the state of South Carolina
- Experience in orthopaedics, neurology, or related specialties is a plus
- BLS/ACLS certification required
