Position Overview
This community-based position offers intensive therapy and care coordination for individuals whose needs extend beyond traditional outpatient services. IHTS targets children and adolescents with psychosocial complexities, focusing on family engagement and successful outcomes. Therapists also provide face-to-face interventions with schools and other systems to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Compensation: Starting at $25 per piece rate
Key Responsibilities

Therapeutic Interventions:
- Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy to clients in their homes and community settings.
- Implement therapeutic, behavioral, and crisis interventions tailored to client needs as outlined in the Person-Centered Plan (PCP).

Assessment and Planning:
- Work with clients and families to assess strengths and identify areas for growth.
- Develop, monitor, and revise Person-Centered Plans, crisis plans, and transition plans.
- Assist families in planning, accessing, and evaluating treatment and ancillary services.

Collaboration and Support:
- Act as a member of the clinical treatment team, contributing to child and family team meetings.
- Provide training to parents, guardians, and natural supports to enhance their ability to support the client effectively.
- Coordinate with collateral agencies and community resources to ensure continuity of care.

Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including treatment notes, service plans, and other required medical record documentation.

Community Engagement:
- Support clients in accessing benefits and appropriate formal services.
- Facilitate psycho-educational activities and other evidence-based interventions that align with agency-selected best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, or psychology.
- Licensure: Full or provisional licensure required in the State of North Carolina (e.g., LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT).
- Skills:
- Experience in family therapy and behavioral health services for children and adolescents.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
