Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time ACT Psych Rehab Specialist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. This role involves providing community-based, in-home individual and family interventions for clients with mental health and substance use challenges. The focus is on promoting symptom stability, enhancing coping skills, fostering interpersonal relationships, and supporting individuals in achieving their highest level of functioning within the community.
Location: Fayetteville, NC
Compensation: $22.91 piece rate
Key Responsibilities

Client-Centered Interventions:
- Deliver therapeutic interventions based on the person-centered plan.
- Provide individual and family counseling, psycho-educational activities, and behavioral interventions.
- Address daily living skills, work-related services, and leisure-time activities.

Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work with clients, families, natural supports, and collateral agencies to achieve treatment goals.
- Act as a liaison between clients and community resources.

Support and Education:
- Provide training and education to parents, guardians, or natural supports to improve interactions with clients.
- Offer substance abuse treatment and support services to help individuals achieve stability and independence.

Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, including treatment notes, goals, and plans.
- Ensure compliance with the ACT model as measured by TMACT standards.

Crisis Response:
- Conduct crisis assessments and interventions as needed.
- Assist in all planned service delivery as part of the clinical team.
Qualifications

Educational Requirements:
- Associate Professional or Qualified Professional credentials required.

Experience:
- Previous experience working with mental health and/or substance abuse clients is preferred.

Skills and Attributes:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Must be free from all illicit substance use.

Physical Requirements:
- This is considered light work; no lifting over 20 pounds.
