What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Agent position at Carolina Pine Inn?
The front desk agent is the first contact many of our hotel guests encounter. It is vital that you be friendly and welcoming at all times. The front desk agent must enjoy interacting with guests and helping them make their stay exceptional.
Duties include:
- Processing guest check-ins and check-outs
- Answering phone calls
- Making reservations
- Handling guest issues
- Problem solving
- Dusting/cleaning/disinfecting
- Professional attitude and demeanor
- Processing payments
- Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly service oriented manner.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
- Perform other duties as assigned which may include but is not limited to the following: helping coworkers in other areas of the hotel maintaining a clean and organized work area and overall cleanliness and safety throughout the hotel and grounds
Shifts hours will be a mixture of 4pm -12am and 12am- 8am shifts.
Hotel experience is preferred, but not necessary.
