Carolina Plus Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our care team, working 8-12 hours, daytime shifts. We’re searching for an individual with compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help patients affect lasting change. Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients and document results
- Finish charts appropriately and in a timely manner
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Familiarity with patient age range of six months to geriatric population
- Place IVs and blood draws as required
- Other duties as assigned
- Certified FNP and license to practice in SC
- DOT Certification required
- A minimum of six months of experience in an urgent care/ER setting required
- Previous experience in primary care/family medicine preferred
- IVs and drawing blood experience a plus
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
