Carolina Power Equipment is a Kubota Tractor dealership with locations in Cayce, SC and Greenwood, SC.
In addition to Kubota, we also offer parts and service for SCAG, Land Pride, Stihl and Walker. We are looking for an individual with an outgoing personality, helpful disposition and customer service experience. You will be responsible for answering parts phone calls and assisting walk-in customers with their needs. In assisting customers you will need to be able to discern what part(s) the customer needs, locate the part(s) in the corresponding diagram, and sell said part through our point-of-sale system. Must be able to multi-task as this is a high volume job.

Summary
As a Parts Associate, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while managing inventory and sales in a retail environment. Your core skills in inventory management, cash handling, and effective communication will ensure smooth operations at the parts counter. Utilizing your premium skills in automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance(not required, but helpful), you will assist customers in finding the right parts for their needs. Additionally, your relevant skills in stocking and organizational tasks will contribute to maintaining an efficient and well-organized parts department, making you a vital member of our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and transactions.
- Operate the POS system efficiently, handling cash and processing sales transactions.
- Maintain organized workspaces and ensure proper stocking of parts on the sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance sales strategies and improve customer satisfaction.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock replenishment for automotive parts.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist customers with vehicle maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction
- Proficient in inventory management and control
- Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with retail sales and stocking procedures
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
