We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves both driving and warehouse responsibilities, ensuring timely delivery of goods while maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and the ability to handle various tasks related to delivery and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring items are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Navigate assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries to customers.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including organizing inventory, moving products, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and ensure smooth workflow.
Skills
- Proficient in route driving and navigating local areas effectively.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to load and unload products safely and efficiently.
- Experience in moving goods within a warehouse setting is advantageous.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or courier is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management is beneficial.
