Carolina Precision Technologies-Mooresville (CPT) is a premier, full-service precision manufacturer for the medical and aerospace industries. We are a market-leading manufacturer of various medical surgical instruments, cutting tools and implants. Along with various components utilized in the aerospace industry for life saving/preserving assemblies and apparatus'.
Responsibilities and Duties
- This individual would be responsible for interaction with Quality Control and Production Personnel
- Prepare shipping documents for Customer shipments (BOLs, labels, etc.)
- Work closely with the Operations/Inventory Team to ensure all proper paperwork is provided to the Customer
- Assist with the prioritization and management shipments
- Ensure correct labels with descriptions are printed
- Obtain correct information for shipment as required
- Perform additional operational/fulfillment tasks that support other departments as needed
- Follow all safety rules and regulations and maintain departmental housekeeping standards
Qualifications and Skills
- 2-3 years related experience in a shipping/warehouse environment.
- Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite including a understanding of Excel
- Ability to drive Forklift
- A working knowledge of Infor Visual a plus
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Good attention to detail
Minimum Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs
