Description
Carolina Precision Technologies (CPT) is a premier, full-service precision manufacturer for the medical and aerospace industries. We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician in Mooresville, NC. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, detail-oriented, and able to keep on task with minimal direct supervision.
Critical duties will include:
- Oversee facility maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized facility maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations related to facility maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. .
- Address and resolve maintenance issues promptly to minimize disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Work alongside Maintenance Lead
- Maintaining a safe and clean workspace
Critical Skills include:
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
- Capable of working with little or no supervision
- Proven experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exert heavy effort and work in difficult working positions and lift up to 60 lbs
- Knowledge of general shop operating and safety practices
Additional Skills which would be helpful:
General computing including Microsoft Excel and Word
Knowledge of/Experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Systems
