Carolina Precision Technologies (CPT) is a premier, full-service precision manufacturer for the medical and aerospace industries. We are a market leading manufacturer of implants, specialty surgical instruments, cutting tools, and delivery systems for the orthopedic, sports medicine, trauma, extremities and other MedSurg applications. We are currently seeking a full time Final Inspector at our facility in Mooresville, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience in a production environment with good communication and an ability to learn quickly.
General Summary
The ideal candidate will be hard-working, and team oriented while keeping on task with minimal direct supervision. Must have great attention to detail, and a willingness to follow directions to the letter. The Final Inspector will utilize fine motor skills and keen eyesight to inspect, sort, test, and verify our precision machined parts. This role is critical to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
- Dimensional inspections using inspection equipment
- Visual inspections with and without magnification
- Understand and utilize Acceptable Quality Levels (AQL's)
- Segregating questionable or non-conforming product
- Tracking time by part for accurate cost tracking
- Read, write, and understand instructions in English
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- All other duties as assigned
- Ability to self-manage tasks
- Use of calipers, micrometers, go/no go gages is preferred
- General computing including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking
- Ability to focus and stay on task with or without direct supervision
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work space
- 2 years' experience
- Bend, stoop, squat and walk on a continuous basis
- Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- High School diploma or GED preferred
