About Carolina Prep & Ship:
Carolina Prep & Ship is a family-owned business. We receive, inventory, prep, label, box, and palletize products for shipment into Amazon. There is huge demand for these services, and our business is growing rapidly.
We are hiring for part-time (25-40 hrs per week) and full-time (M-F 7:30am-4pm) positions.
Job Purpose and Description:
The Fulfillment Associate position is a critical role in our business. The person must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and also work with teams. Organization, preparation, fulfillment, and shipment of pallet level shipments and/or logistics experience is desirable. We are looking for a person that is dependable and interested in growing with our company for long-term success. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in a warehouse environment. We prize speed, accuracy, and reliability above all else, so we require a Fulfillment Associate that can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
· Receive merchandise in our warehouse and appropriately label and pack for shipment. Concise, timely, and accurate fulfillment is key.
· Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents
· Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log
· Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately
· Pack products in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping
· Treat merchandise with care at all times
· Train and support new employees as they are on-boarded
· Scan all containers to determine appropriate contents as well as end destination
· Conduct comprehensive record keeping of all incoming and outgoing inventory
· Maintain a safe, healthy, organized and clean work environment
· Ensure a high level of detail and focus on every job
· Interface and report directly to Warehouse Manager
· Lifting of boxes up to 30-40 pounds and physical work will be involved in this position. Working in a warehouse that is not climate controlled will be part of this position.
Key Experience:
· Previous fulfillment / warehouse experience preferred
· Able to work with all levels of staff
· Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets and Docs
Travel and Schedule:
· Travel is not expected
· Fulfillment Associate is expected to be on-site at the warehouse daily or as determined by the schedule set. Additional hours and some weekend work (rare) may be needed as required.

Pay Structure:
This position is hourly. Compensation will be commensurate with experience level. Rate of pay is starting at $13.50 with short term opportunity for increase for performing employees at 30 day review. Bonuses will be available at the discretion of the owners. Pay reviews are done 3-4 times per year.
