Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education and have experience working with toddlers in a structured childcare setting.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for toddlers.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that encourage cognitive, physical, and social development.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Monitor and assess child development, providing feedback to parents and administration as needed.
- Follow all South Carolina childcare licensing regulations and Carolina Prep policies.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility in South Carolina.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED at minimum.
- Knowledge of child development best practices and classroom management techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and build relationships with families.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
