Job Description
Concrete Plant Laborer (Apply in Person)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions
- Maintain waste concrete block forms (structurally)
- Strip, clean, oil and close forms
- Stack blocks for loader operator, stack in yard if needed
- Clean plant daily, sweep, keep area tidy and safe, power wash as needed
- Maintain a positive attitude towards work and the team
- On the job training provided and all job duties will be explained in full.
- Must have own transportation and be on time for work everyday, no exceptions.
Work performed at a concrete plant with varying temperatures.
Physical Demands
1. Must be able to lift and/or maneuver around a facility and grounds a minimum of
50lbs. throughout the workday, as required
2. Load/unload/carry materials and tools multiple times throughout the workday
3. Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job efficiently and safely
4. Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary.
5: Normal job hours are 5:00 am to 4:00 pm
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.
Occasional early morning, evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience:
1. Reliable transportation required.
2. Related work experience activities, duties or responsibilities helpful. Previous forklift or equipment experience a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
