We're hiring an entry-level real estate assistant to join our investment team! Pay is an entry-level base W2 employee wage with bonuses for every home we purchase with your help. Theres also a company car provided. We purchase 2-4 homes a month. No experience is necessary. We have a lot of people calling us to buy their home. We would like to hire you to go to the home (we set the appointment for you) and give us the information we need to make an offer to pay an appropriate price for their property. You'll meet the seller, get to know them, guide us on what repairs are necessary, and work with us to decide an offer price. There will be some follow up calls to customers.
You are our eyes and ears at the property feeding information back to us to write an offer. You'll go on about 10-12 appointments a week all around town. Again, these appointments are scheduled for you - there is zero cold calling or sales work required. In effect, you are our estimator in-field to help us determine our correct offer price. You will work some days from your house and others you will be in the field but no experience necessary. We'll train you on everything. Some basic knowledge of home construction is necessary.
This is VERY important. You need to enjoy driving and talking to homeowners. Also this position will assist in covering appointments in the Triad until we make a hire there. You will use a company car for all appointments.
You'll get a lot of in-field experience on how to invest in single-family rentals from experienced real estate investors who have been doing this for 15 years. Hours are very flexible. We have daily training.
You must have a clean and valid driver's license. If you're interested in the role, reach out! Responsibilities:
- Keep an open schedule to accept appointments with homeowners pre-schedule for you.
- Drive to the homeowners property and arrive on time professionally, confirming the appointment before.
- Run comparable home sales near their home so we have an idea of what it's worth (we'll teach you this)
- Meet with the homeowner and build rapport so they know and like you.
- Estimate repair costs to bring the home up to market value (we'll teach you this)
- Take photos and video of the home so we can better determine the best price to offer.
- Work with us to write an offer we present to the seller based on the information you provide us.
- Follow up with the seller to help us solve their problem if they don't accept the offer we present to them.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license.
- Smartphone that takes video and photos.
- Agree to background check upon hire.
- Live in the city we're hiring in.
- Flexible schedule to take appointments.
Compensation:
$15 an hour bonus per home purchased a company car.
