The main duties of this role will focus on front desk reception, patient scheduling, and treatment presentation. This job will require great communication, organization, and phone skills.
Experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients in the dental office
- Answer phone calls and emails
- Ensure patients are comfortable
- Ensure office is neat and presentable
- Help patients complete required forms
- Confirm appointments
- Communicate with referrals
- Communicate with insurance companies
- Input insurance information into patient management system
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Collect payments
Skills
- Great phone skills
- Must have excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor in person and on the phone
- Ability to get along well with others
- Minimum High School diploma required, college education is a plus
- Must be reliable and have an excellent attendance record
- Knowledge of Word, Excel and other common office software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPPA compliance in regards to documentation copied, typed or filed.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
