Position Overview
We’re looking for dependable, creative individuals to join our Event Styling Crew. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with flowers, styling event spaces, and seeing a design come to life. You’ll assist in preparing and installing beautiful event elements—ranging from floral and tabletop to accent décor and light drapery—while gaining on-site experience in a wide variety of settings including luxury venues, hotel ballrooms, tented outdoor spaces, corporate offices, and unique non-traditional event locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Style tabletop designs with high-end chargers, linens, glassware, and candles
- Assist with floral prep and on-site placement including bud vases, compotes, and large-scale arrangements
- Support décor installs, such as light draping, custom backdrops, tabletop risers, bar accents, and soft seating areas
- Execute design plans to ensure every detail aligns with the client’s vision and the CLUXE brand
- Pack, unpack, and handle delicate décor and floral items with care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of styling supplies and workspace
- Assist with on-site breakdown and packing after events
- Work confidently across a range of event environments—from formal venues and boutique hotels to corporate spaces and tented outdoor settings
- Collaborate with team members and represent CLUXE with professionalism and grace
Qualifications
- Passion for design, florals, and event aesthetics
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable with hands-on tasks and light décor installs (e.g., hanging drapery, staging vignettes)
- Organized, dependable, and responsive to creative direction
- Available for flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event season
- Team player with a calm, solutions-focused attitude
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience in floral design, event décor, or visual merchandising
- Familiarity with the wedding or special event industry
- Background in hospitality, interior styling, or production support
