We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech to join our team at Carolina Surgical Center at Piedmont. This is a full-time position that requires strong communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a sterile field during surgical procedures
- Prepare supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures
- Support the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center
- Participate in quality improvement activities
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification as required by state and/or center
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
- Aseptic techniques and their implementation
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
- Teamwork and strong communication skills
