LCSW Training Coordinator

What will you do?

The LCSW Training Coordinator is responsible for training all employees of CTSHealth in all business locations. The incumbent will be responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs; conduct needs assessments, execute training, develop reinforcements, and evaluate outcome.

  • Track all employee training and ensure that all employees are compliant with training requirements from state regulations and CARF.
  • Mapping out training plans and schedules, designing and developing training programs (outsourced or in-house) for corporate, HR training and more
  • Choosing appropriate training methods per case (virtual, simulated, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc.)
  • Map out annual training plans for management, HR, customer support and more
  • Design and develop training programs (outsourced and/or in-house)
  • Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes)
  • Market available training to employees and provide necessary information about sessions.
  • Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
  • Use known educational principles and stay up to date on new training methods and techniques.
  • Design, prepare and order educational aids and materials.
  • Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs.
  • Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and liaise with experts regarding instructional design.
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
  • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment.
  • Research and recommend new training methods.
  • Has experience with various training methods, including on-the-job coaching, mentorship programs and e-learning. Experience with different projects, like management training.
  • Should also be familiar with the instructors, equipment, and educational material requirements for each project. If you can think of and design engaging ways to train our employees (e.g. client role-playing exercises or outdoor activities), we’d like to meet you.
  • Ultimately, the role of the training coordinator is to oversee all professional development at our company.

Requirements

Professional Requirements:

  • LCSW or has similar credential to support our clinicians or has a strong background in mental/behavioral health would be ideal for this role.
  • Create and maintain a positive and professional learning environment.
  • Promote integrity and honesty throughout the organization.
  • Must be a leader that sets the standard and expectations through example in his/her conduct, work ethic, integrity, and character.

Hours of Work:

  • There is no “shift rotation” as such, however due the specialized nature of position; it is expected, that the employee will work the hours needed for client services as determined by the supervisor, agency coordinator, treatment team, and Carolina Therapeutic Services Inc. It is likely that this will occur somewhat regularly. Assignments can occur on weekends and after hours. Due to this after-hours work, weekend work can also be assigned as defined by the needs of the needs of the client population.

What qualifications do you need?

  • Must be at least 18 years of age, be able to read, write, understand, and follow directions, have no substantiated findings of abuse or neglect listed on NC Health Care Registry, and no criminal convictions.?
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design & development, and training methodologies.
  • High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style
  • Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer literate with in-depth knowledge of MS office and web-based systems; visual aids technology
  • Strong history of executing the vision of senior management
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail/level of quality, communication (written and verbal), and guest service skills.
  • Must be able to travel within all North and South Carolina to deliver training to all employees with possible overnight stays on a weekly basis.

Pay Range

$50,000 - $60,000 /year
