The Behavioral Health State Lead will provide general leadership and management over Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services and Targeted Case Management Services. This position will serve as a liaison between the agency’s Executive Team and Operations department as well as the state contracted Managed Care Organizations (MCO). The Lead will need to possess excellent communication and clinical documentation skills. The role will also play an active part in the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Oversee RBHS and TCM service functions in the assigned market by maintaining existing MCO relationships through various methods of ongoing communication
• Build new and maintain current relationships with all area stakeholders
• Conduct and provide oversight for the assignment of service referrals, Clinical Assessments and Treatment Plans for services identified
• Develop new programming as outlined in the market’s strategic plan
• Coordinate with the agency’s Clinical Director and Utilization Management Team to coordinate services and service delivery needs • Responsible for ensuring that services are provided in a manner which meets all applicable regulatory licensure and accrediting regulations ‘Provide direct supervision and evaluations to assigned staff (RBHS and TCM Program Managers) as required
• Participate in supervision with direct supervisor as required
• Schedule and provide monthly supervision meetings with Program Managers, Team Leaders and direct care staff.
Monitor RBHS and TCM budget monthly in coordination with the Finance Department
• Coordinate with Human Resources department on staff needs (including recruitment, vetting, hiring, administrative and clinical training, performance appraisals, discipline, terminations)
• Manage a fully staffed team of competent professionals and implement effective staffing patterns that meet individual needs • Participate in Corporate quarterly management team meeting.
• Knowledge of Electronic Health Recordkeeping
• Must maintain the flexibility to respond to client needs and crisis Situations beyond the agencies normal working hours.
• Attend all appropriate in-services, workshops, or continuing education programs.
• Work to ensure mental health outreach, education, and prevention in the community.
• Maintains strict confidentiality according to all Federal and State guidelines and requirements.
• Responsible for personal development to ensure current knowledge in the profession,
• Ensure that all information obtained while at CTSHEALTH is kept confidential and will remain confidential beyond employment. • Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and drug-free environment.
• Perform any other job-related duties as specified by a supervisor.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in the Human service field and possess an active Fully Licensed Mental Health Professional credential (LISW, LPC, LMFT or Ph.D.).
- Extensive knowledge of Rehabilitative Behavioral Health and Target Care Management Services (including Diagnostic/Clinical Assessment, Treatment Plan Development, Crisis Planning
- Minimum of 2 years working with the MH/SA/DD population
- CALOCUS Certification (preferred not required)
Salary
$65-75K annually
