What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Specific Aide Worker position at Carolina Therapeutic Services?
Description
Gaston County Student-Specific Aides
Is this you?
Do you have a “can do” attitude and a heart for children (or youth). Some of the students we serve struggle with just making it through a school day. Maybe it’s their challenges with mental health issues or a disability. One might need help learning new behaviors to relate better with others, while the next child needs support to manage health issues.
Are you a HS graduate seeking experience so you can move forward in your career? Do you want to be part of an exciting, growing team? Maybe, you simply want to be a positive influence in a child’s life. We at CTS Health do too, and we’re looking for goal-oriented assistants to give children a chance to grow forward and be as successful as they can in a Gaston County school classroom this school year.
You will get to know and encourage a single student who needs some extra focused attention, providing one-to-one support and helping that child achieve his or her goals for the 2024/2025 school year. Connecting with the child and his or her teachers as well as with other CTS Health workers helping other children is rewarding, giving you, the child you help, and the whole team you work with a true sense of accomplishment.
