The SpeechLanguage Pathologist plans conducts and evaluates the treatment program for individuals with disorders in the comprehension and production of speech and language as set forth by the American SpeechLanguage and Hearing Association. Under the direction of the attending physician the SpeechLanguage Pathologist provides assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders.
Requirements
Licensed registered or certified by the state in which the SpeechLanguage Pathologist resides or practices speech pathology. Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American SpeechLanguage and Hearing Association.
