Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Technician
Duties:
- Safely operate wheelchair accessible vehicles to transport passengers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Communicate effectively with passengers, clients, and dispatchers
- Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers as needed
- Follow specific routes or schedules as assigned
- Maintain completely and accurate records
- Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers throughout the journey
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; no speeding or other moving traffic violations
- 5 years of driving experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently
- Ability to lift heavy objects as required
