 What is expected of a Crew Team Leader at Carolina Tree Care?

• Must be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• Responsibility for daily production requirements of assigned crews.
• Provides Operational leadership with accurate payroll and revenue information of assigned crews.
• Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency in the positive enforcement of the company's safety policies, procedures, and daily work requirements.
• Abides by all OSHA and ANSI Standards, as well as all company safety and personnel policies.
• Assists operational leadership with equipment repairs and the scheduling of Preventive Maintenance.
• Politely interface with Carolina Tree Care clients, daily.
• Promptly and professionally handle any customer or homeowner complaints, professional conflict resolution
• Communicates daily with operational leadership on crew activity, equipment problems, and safety or any other pertinent issues. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Conduct that is consistent with the Mission and Values of the Company.

What you’ll need:

• A minimum of two years’ experience as a Crew Leader, or equivalent.
• Must demonstrate ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing.
• Must be well groomed and in approved uniform apparel.
• Must be willing to travel, which may include overnight stays.
• Must be willing or able to obtain and maintain an ISA Certified Arborist Qualification, Pesticide Applicators License and/or other certifications as required by the job.
• Understand that the hours of service will typically exceed those of other crew members.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks and work in the elements.
• Have a valid driver’s license, CDL and/or medical certificate required for the vehicle being operated.
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
