ResponsibilitiesService Technician :

Perform multi-point inspections and diagnose vehicle malfunctions.

Efficiently repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, following dealership standards.

Clearly explain mechanical diagnoses and necessary repairs to service advisors and customers in a non-technical manner.

Provide accurate time estimates for repairs.

Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs to ensure quality service.

Utilize diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment to assess vehicle components and systems.

Stay current with new technical information and training sessions.

Adhere to company regulations and stay informed on recalls and manufacturer updates.

Report damaged or defective equipment to management.

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while reporting any safety concerns.

Qualifications / Requirements - Service Technician :

Previous experience as a Service Technician or completion of a trade school program required.

Prior experience as a Service Technician or Express / Lube Technician preferred.

Strong work ethic and dedication to the role.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and technical information.

ASE certification preferred.

Solid mechanical skills with attention to detail.
