Responsibilities – General Manager:
Oversee dealership operations and profitability, ensuring all departments meet performance goals.- Hire, train, and mentor managers and employees to build a strong, high-performing team.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, service performance, and overall business growth.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, maintaining high CSI scores and fostering long-term customer relationships.
- Inspire, motivate, and support managers and staff, promoting a culture of excellence, integrity, and accountability.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the manufacturer, ensuring compliance with brand standards and maximizing dealership opportunities.
- Manage financial performance, including expense control, inventory management, and maximizing profitability.
- Analyze key performance metrics daily to identify opportunities for improvement and drive operational success.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as dealership policies.
Qualifications – General Manager:
Previous General Management experience at high-volume franchise dealership preferred; previous automotive management experience required.- Proven track record in automotive retail industry, including customer experience scores and market share performance.
- Must have excellent leadership, verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Exhibits a professional management style that sets the example for enthusiasm, productivity, and accountability.
- Must be process oriented, well-disciplined and have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Must have knowledge of franchise dealership financial accounting and proficient knowledge of DMS and CRM (CDK experience preferred).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
