What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Lieutenant, Security position at CarolinaEast Health System?
Job Summary: An employee in this position performs all the duties of a Company Police Officer and Communication Officer. In addition, he/she will be responsible for the following: Supervisor of the security personnel, assisting the Chief of Police in the preparation of work schedules, assisting in time-keeping, assisting the Chief in the preparation of evaluation reports on employees’ performances, and informs and/or makes recommendations to the Chief on situations or conditions arising during his/her shift which may deviate from routine.

Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No criminal record other than minor traffic offenses.
- Valid North Carolina license.
- Telephone.
- At least three years of experience in law enforcement.
- BLET certification continuously.
- Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
