Job Description
Personal Care Attendant
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- 21 - 79 years old
- Prior home care experience (1 - 2yrs preferred)
- Two Professional references
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (required)
- Reliable vehicle, current auto insurance and valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Current health assessment
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ability to care client for with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly, congenial, and professional manner - provide companionship
- Nurturing – Providing a warm and caring environment
- Personal Care (Bathing, Toiletry, mouth care)
- Light housekeeping, must be able to warm up food
- Supervise all activities to ensure safety at all times
- Adhere to HIPPA and maintain client confidentiality
- Follow Plan of Care
· Work a 4 to 5 hour shift
- Must wear Scrubs and Mask at all times!
Job Type: Part-time
