Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary:
Carolinas Collision Center is seeking a dedicated and motivated Automotive Vehicle Technician Apprentice to join our team in Rocky Mount, NC. This apprenticeship program offers hands-on training and mentorship, providing a strong foundation for a successful career in automotive collision repair. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, the apprentice will assist in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and refinishing to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and repairing vehicles according to manufacturer and industry standards.
Perform basic vehicle inspections, disassembly, and reassembly as part of the repair process.
Learn and apply proper techniques for bodywork, painting, and refinishing.
Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment under supervision.
Complete assigned training modules to enhance technical knowledge and skill development.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure quality workmanship.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school training is a plus.
Interest in automotive collision repair and a willingness to learn.
Basic mechanical knowledge or previous experience working with vehicles is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to follow instructions and work in a team-oriented environment.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active role.
