About the Position
This is a full-time opportunity that requires excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in women's health, specifically in OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery.
Responsibilities
- Abstract patient charts and maintain accurate records
- Clean and set up examination rooms, ensuring a clean and safe environment
- Assist with blood draws and take vital signs to monitor patient health
- Room patients and chaperone during exams and procedures, providing emotional support
- Support medical providers with procedures and prepare instruments for sterilization
- Enter lab orders and IUI notes into electronic health records
- Verify patient information and attach relevant documents to charts
- Work as a medical scribe when needed, capturing critical information
Requirements
- Active certification as a medical assistant or RMA
- At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy, with certification preferred
- Associate's degree required
- 1-2 years of experience in women's health (OB/GYN) preferred
- Phlebotomy experience required
- BLS certification required

Working Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
