Key Responsibilities
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment, ensuring a safe and sterile environment
- Perform blood draws and vital sign checks, adhering to standard precautions
- Assist healthcare providers during procedures, providing support and maintaining patient safety
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement and contributing to process improvements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues and healthcare providers, promoting a collaborative work environment
Requirements
- Completion of CMA course and ongoing certification as a medical assistant or RMA certification
- 1 year of experience in women's health, preferably in OB/GYN and labor & delivery
