We are seeking a certified medical assistant to provide exceptional patient care at Carolinas Fertility Institute in Charlotte.
About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in women's health, specifically in OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including abstracting charts and taking vital signs
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for procedures
- Assist medical providers with procedures and prepare instruments for sterilization
- Enter lab orders and IUI notes into electronic health records
- Verify patient information and attach relevant documents to charts
- Work as a medical scribe when needed, capturing critical information
Requirements
- Active certification as a medical assistant or RMA
- At least 1 year of experience in phlebotomy, with certification preferred
- Associate's degree required
- 1-2 years of experience in women's health (OB/GYN) preferred
- Phlebotomy experience required
- BLS certification required
