Title: Dough (Masa) Kneader
Reports to: Restaurant Manager/Kitchen Manager
Summary of Position:
The Dough (masa) Kneader position is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards. The Dough (masa) Kneader position is responsible for producing excellent masa as per company’s standards. The Dough Kneader is required to prepare masa using the company’s recipe book.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- Organize/stock flour.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Excellent attention to detail to create quality masa as per company’s recipe book.
- Maintain correct water temperature.
- Complete and accurate knowledge of process on water temperature.
- Check machine daily to ensure optimum production capacity.
- Report maintenance questions/concerns or issues to manager immediately.
- Operate machine carefully and safely.
- Ability to perform other tasks as needed.
- Ability to lift/carry 40 lbs. 60lbs
Qualifications:
- Must have experience in various kitchen positions within company.
- Thorough knowledge of food handling policies.
- Complete knowledge of masa preparation processes.
- Must have excellent work history within company.
- Demonstrates excellent customer hospitality.
- Communicates respectfully towards others.
- Must have neat appearance.
- Basic reading, writing and math.
- Be customer focused by providing excellent food quality.
- Collaborates with team members to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Ethical conduct.
Physical Requirements:
