Job Description:
This position requires a skilled dental hygienist to perform licensed hygiene procedures, educate patients, and manage the nonsurgical periodontal program as directed by the dentist. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining continued patient care relationships, verifying/documenting patient health history, and educating patients about oral hygiene/health/disease, as well as procedures and services offered.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school.
• Current hygiene license where employed.
• Maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control training as required by law.
• Experience with dental software.
