We are seeking an Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer to support our vision of becoming the best water consulting firm. The successful candidate will be highly-motivated and a self-starter and will play a key role in design of municipal water and wastewater facilities, including but not limited to treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and linear infrastructure rehabilitation and replacement.

Responsibilities
- Performing engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
- Work on engineering planning and design projects
- Prepare reports
- Develop plans and specifications
- Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
- System modeling
- Permitting and alternative analysis
- Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
- Data entry and analysis
- Provide engineering services during construction
- Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Minimum academic requirements include coursework in physical, chemical, and biological processes; hydraulics; and principles of water and wastewater treatment plant and infrastructure design
- 0 to 4 years of directly-relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering
- Engineer-in-Training Certification
- Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work well in a team environment
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Familiarity with computer applications including ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and water and sewer hydraulic calculations/modeling software (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM, InfoSWMM)
- Laboratory experience
