Job Title: Mid Level Electrical Engineer
Overview:
Carollo Engineers is a leading environmental engineering firm specializing in water and wastewater facility planning, design, and construction. We seek an experienced Mid Level Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater treatment facilities with minimal supervision.
- Conduct load calculations, conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation.
Requirements:
- 6-12 years of experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with power system applications, including calculation of available short circuit current, voltage drop, harmonic distortion, and power factor.
- Field investigative and start-up experience.
- Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA 820, and NESC.
- Familiarity with the IEEE color book series.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Motivated, articulate, and self-starting with the ability to interact positively with clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
