Responsibilities
- Perform engineering work in various engineering fields within the Infrastructure Practice such as pipelines, pump stations, and storage tanks.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct engineering work on small to large projects of a moderately complex nature.
- Work on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, write specifications, facilitate permitting, and prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Prepare technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables; data entry and analysis, and working through the construction phase.
- Work with internal and external team members to produce successful projects.
- Develop relationships with new and existing clients and maintain those relationships.
- Assist with proposals, interviews, and contract negotiations.
- Active in professional associations, including presentation of technical papers, member of technical committee, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 6-12 years of water and wastewater infrastructure design experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the design and construction administration of small, medium, and large water and wastewater infrastructure projects including pump stations, wastewater collection systems, potable and reclaimed water transmission/distribution systems, and pipeline rehabilitation projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer.
