About the position:
Maintains 24-hour accountability for departments/programs. Provides leadership and strategic direction consistent with the Corporate and Department/Program Mission, Vision and Values.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
- Current RN license to practice in North Carolina (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
- Master’s degree in appropriate healthcare field from an accredited college or university required.
- Professional nursing certification strongly preferred.
- At least three years of progressive leadership responsibility in healthcare.
- Thorough knowledge of leadership/management theories and applications. Positive and effective interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and skills of motivation and group dynamics.
