What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Office Team Leader position at CaroMont Health?
Job Summary: Responsible for assisting with the administrative and clerical functions of the front office team. Provides leadership across the site, within scope of work, as identified by Practice Manager/Practice Administrator/Sr. Practice Administrator. Assigns daily functions for front office team based on the needs of the clinic. Provides feedback to practice leadership regarding staff performance and patient concerns. Performs service recovery as needed in the front office. Serves as first point of contact for front office staff. Also serves as a point of contact for employees when Practice Manager/Practice Administrator/ Sr. Practice Administrator is absent.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent with at least one year relevant healthcare experience required; excellent computer skills with basic understanding of Word, Excel, internet and email required; excellent phone and customer service skills; knowledge of medical terminology required; medical insurance knowledge required; advanced account inquiry knowledge; initiative/problem solving skills required; EMR experience preferred; must be able to work as a team player.
