What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Supply Specialist position at CaroMont Health?
Job Summary: To assist Production Manager with all functions related to cafeteria operations, patient service operations, kitchen operations and catering. Responsibilities include ordering, receiving, unpacking, storing and dispensing a variety of food supplies, chemicals and paper goods to various areas in accordance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) guidelines. Complete inventory all food supplies weekly. Maintain cleaning schedule in compliance with various regulatory agencies (HACCP, JCAHO, DFS, OSHA, and local health inspector). Will also perform duties of Tray Service Attendant and Hospitality Assistant as needed.
Qualifications: High School diploma required; at least (1) one year experience in inventory supply in healthcare setting preferred. Must have computer skills to include Excel, Word, Explorer, and internet ordering / inventory systems. Ability to follow procedures and aptitude for detailed work.
