What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Director, Clinical Services position at CaroMont Health?
Job Summary: Leads in the Clinical Services Division by providing clinical, operational, and financial management for assigned departments/locations within the healthcare system (Lab, Rehab, Pharmacy, and Case Management). Ensuring that quality patient care is provided, overseeing clinical staff, and budgeting for clinical operations. Maintains 24/7 accountability for leadership responsibilities, including evaluation, planning, executing, and monitoring operations consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission statement and values.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, nursing, or other health-related field of study required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing, or other health-related field of study required. Current RN license to practice in NC (NC license or multi-state (compact) license) if applicable. Minimum of seven (7) years of clinical experience and five (5) of progressive leadership experience in an acute hospital setting managing multiple departments or sites are required. Ability to apply knowledge of clinical principles, methods, and techniques. Possesses skills in operations, performance improvement, fiscal management, and service excellence. Demonstrates skill in supervising manager and director leaders to high performance. Ability to manage/motivate people and deal tactfully with patients, physicians, managers, senior leadership, and patient’s families. Knowledge of change management, high reliability, Lean/Six Sigma required with proven ability to apply theory to achieve sustainable results. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.
