The Field Service Technician (FST) plays a vital role in interacting with customers to identify areas for improvement in their operations. The territory will primarily cover the western United States, with a focus on California, but may include other regions based on customer demand.

The Field Service Technician (FST) plays a vital role in interacting with customers to identify areas for improvement in their operations. The territory will primarily cover the western United States, with a focus on California, but may include other regions based on customer demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform equipment installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, calibrations, and performance validations to documented standards
- Travel 75%-100% of the month (usually home on weekends with rare requests for weekend travel)
- Lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Provide customer service while adhering to company protocols and safety standards
- Field Service Technicians are provided with a company cell phone, laptop, and credit card for travel expenses
- Full access to a technical pool of skilled internal resources for assistance while in the field
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED and technical training, certification in a technical field
- Experience with reading electrical schematics and other technical drawings.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems in a field setting
- Requires excellent time management skills
- Requires excellent verbal skills and the ability to interact with a sophisticated customer base
- Ability to independently schedule and coordinate business travel
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license with clean driving history required
- Familiarity with MAS 90, Sage CRM, Word, and/or Excel a plus
- Strong desire for continued growth and learning
