About the Role - We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer physically based in our Marietta, OH office with a strong focus on Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to drive innovation in our product development process.

Responsibilities -
Design for Manufacturability : Develop mechanical designs that optimize manufacturability while maintaining quality, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with Production Teams : Partner with manufacturing and production teams to address design challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that improve efficiency.
Process Integration : Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into production workflows, considering fabrication, assembly, and testing.
Prototyping and Testing : Create prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, making adjustments based on performance and manufacturability.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvement in design and production, driving initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Documentation : Generate and maintain accurate technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation to support manufacturing and quality assurance.
Vendor Collaboration : Collaborate with suppliers to ensure parts and materials meet design and production requirements.
Compliance : Ensure designs adhere to applicable industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Travel : Up to 25% travel is required.
Qualifications -
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on manufacturability preferred. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
Required Skills -
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
